This cake is very easy to make.
You can also unroll the swissroll
and add spread a layer cream and re-roll it.
Some PARTY GAMES:
(for younger children)
Down on the farm:
Evolve a story about a farm (or zoo) mentioning the various animals.

142 ml whipping cream

For icing

4 egg whites
700 g icing sugar, sifted
2,5 ml cream of tartar
160 ml water

Decoration

pink food colouring
2 (2O g) bars Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Chocolate milk
silver sugar balls
18-cm round silver cake board
1 greaseproof paper piping bag
plain writing pipe
2 silver doilies

For the castle

  1. Cut swiss roll into three pieces measuring about 15-cm/6-in, 10-cm! 4-in and 5-cm/2-in.
  2. Prepare the frosting by measuring all the ingredients into quite a large bowl and standing it over a pan of hot water.
  3. Beat, preferably with an electric hand mixer, until stiff peaks form and the icing is satin smooth and white, which will usually take 8—1O minutes.
  4. Take out one—third and colour this a delicate pink, then swirl it on the cake board.
  5. Spread the white frosting all over the three pieces of Swiss roll and stand them upright in a triangle shape on the board.
  6. Cut each bar of chocolate into five pieces.
  7. Fill the piping bag with a little frosting and pipe a small square window and door knob on one piece of chocolate.
  8. Press a silver ball on to the door knob and press into position on the smallest piece of cake.
  9. Shave the remaining pieces of chocolate to a point at one end and pipe a trellis on them for windows.
  10. Decorate with silver balls and stick these windows in position around the castle cake.
  11. Cut the doilies in half and shape into cones, fastening them with sticky tape, then place the three turrets in position.
  12. A little fluffed—out cotton wool could be put round the cake on the table.
